Hide and Seek

I was talking to my bff the other day and she was asking me why she dont have a boyfriend and i laughed but i really couldnt give her an answer.. told her if she doesnt know then how should I? And then i had an epiphany..

Lifes's a gamble.. make your moves, roll your dice.
Everybody looking for pies, but cant get a slice.
Born alone, die alone.
Wander on the earth alone.
They say home is where the heart is but mine's just keep it goin.
Its like when your younger, growing up as a kid.. all you did was play and have fun.
Play freeze tag and hide and go seek.
You looking for them, while they looking for me.. kinda sorta like love... a never ending game of hide and seek or catch catch get a lil bit.. or in some cases a lot of bit.
You meet somebody and its like you just starting the game.. everybody hurries to say "not it." But if you not willing to chase after someone how do you want someone to find you? So you ask yourself, do you want to win the game or do you want to find what your looking for?
If you win then you run the risk of never being found..
but if you do chase after someone, who says that they are going to be willing to be found?
this mating game makes life interesting because you never know who you might catch during a particular round.
So back to the question do you hide or do you seek?
Will you rise or accept defeat?
Ive done my share of hiding and ive done my share of seeking, but the decision is when to do which..
Most people hide when they should seek and vice-versa, continguing to play the games because on them they was played on.
Some say its wrong but who makes it right? Your friend who doesnt have a boyfriend who tells you that he is not worth your time? Or is it your homie who deep down likes the girl so he calls her a hoe so you wont proceed? Why do peoples opinions effect our decisions so, why do you care what people think... when you play hide in seek did your friend help you catch everybody? No.. Did they keep your hiding place a secret when they were caught or did they come right to you because they knew where you were?
Some things arent meant to be understood.. Why do dogs chase their tails? even when they do catch it they let it go? Why do you chase someone just to catch them?
Everybody always says the same thing "oh im on my grown status i dont have time for games" when really they still playing cat and mouse..

Just a couple thoughts i had goin on about the matter..
