Verbuffet

Fulfilling the day, some say its nutritious,
Forget the dishes, just make it delicious.
Oatmeal and raisins, bacon and eggs,
sunny or scrambled, breakfast for days..
Even if its a stormy or rainy day
the fresh smell of breakfast brightens the way.
Pancakes and sausage, Omlettes or waffles,
Quaker cheese grits, cook em in five.
Most commonly prepared before 11 and after 9,
one healthy meal could help close your eyes.
The itis induces dreamless sleep, lackluster slumber,
wake up on time for the mid day supper.
Grilled cheese, no instructions please,
turkey on white, no rye for me.
Hold the tomatoes just add cheese,
hot dogs by the beach, check out the breeze.
Lunch on the beach by the palm trees,
so its only right to have dinner over seas.
Caribbean cuisine, a dose of Chinese
some jerk for the jerks wit some raspberry tea.
Kung Pow Wow at the General Tso,
I kno the chinaman, so its "two ninety nine."
Fantastic voyage across the seas
as i land in a land where mother rules the peas.
At home there is dinner, place for a winner,
Fourths are gluttonous, i try not to be a sinner.
Steaks on the platter, side order of salad,
boston baked beans make your taste buds imagine.
What is an entree if its not from the best place?
Down south in New Orleans we have the best taste.
Be it our crab cakes, fried beignets
oyster on the halfshell, crawfish etoufee.
A Shrimp Po boy, side of dirty rice
all the northerners complain of the spice.
And to top off a wonderful night,
a slice of king cake, drizzled in white ice.
Loved by the fat people. hated by the skinny,
desert time.. everything good and plenty.
Upside-down cakes, pineapple cakes
double fudge brownies, double the bakes.
Ice cream pleasures, raspberry teases,
Sweet marble fudge, covered with reeses.
Dont forget to floss the sugars and steak
The sweeter the tooth, the worse the ache.
Please dont forget to scrape off your plate
Verb is to thought as thoughts love to taste.
